Judging a bookstore by it’s cover
Monarq brought me in to collaborate with them on the design of the McGill University Bookstore website. The site needed not only a new look, but increased functionality and better mobile performance. We worked to create a site that was clean, functional and beautiful.

A few ways we improved the site:
Made all type that was previously embedded in images live type for better mobile responsiveness, better accessibility and better SEO.
Brought more products above the fold.
A more streamlined cart experience.
Decreased the overall size of the header.
Added french english language toggles.
Simplified and clearer product grid.
Clearer hierarchy across the page.
Flexible feature category boxes and modular elements that can be turned on and off as needed.
